Lion Mail Power Users

dear lion mail .app powers:

i'm trying used new mail .app layout. (i can used in classic layout want try new layout.) close 150 messages day need responded , find classic layout subject right of name provides immediate indication nature of message. subject in new lion layout, however, seems obscured rest of information in left bar. of lot of mail, use new layout? how did on not being able see subject easily?

 

i have no problem new mail view in lion , prefer it. subject highlighted in darker colour, can see mean. may want run mail in full screen @ least should able see complete subject line.

if getting on 100 emails day, need make sure have process deal them. should aim read email once, before decide it, , out of inbox. otherwise waste lots of time rescanning same email. best practice workflow can found here if interested.
