A question about the new EFI updates for macbook pro (early 2010) [who updated only]

i wanna update i'm afraid requires me download internet during installing process , internet @ place isn't reliable right due weather. so, if updated... require me download additional form internet during installation process? how many mb? thank you.

then wait weather clear. ran update last evening on macbook air, took 5 minutes total , went without problems. btw overcast not rainy when did.
