Command+ key not working in Lion

i have applet launches 32 bit jnilib. jnilib launches webframe window ahas url pointing flash site.

problem suppose in of textfields type line . on doing command + entire line gets replaced alphabet "a". if type line , commandl c entire line gets replaced alphabet c , if command v line earlier line pasted appended character "v"

have checked system preferences > keyboard > modifier keys (bottom right corner)? did command key somehow reset?
