Is it safe to play Games on MB Air?

yes playable but, safe play games on mb air? have i7 2011 mb air , played minecraft once, voice of fans , heat scared hell out of me. couldn't handle process , die second... question is, safe play games on mb air? example psyched diablo 3 , know mb air can support it, @ least can run it, heat , fan capability? should prepared blackout second?

it's safe. hot, wouldn't worry overheating. wouldn't play on lap though.
