i'm need buy new mbp, , torn on storage capacity in there. lot of pro-audio work, long time have been lugging around firewire drives record sessions directly onto. new mbp hope buy, considering getting 128gb ssd on woud install apps, , replace optical drive 1tb hard drive use record audio work, , avoid having carry around drives.
thennn saw sdxc slot, got me thinking. basically, want see if sdxc can act drive @ least fast external firewire drive, or better yet fast traditional hard drive in optical bay. basically, can function high performing drive? right run old mbp through ssd in pci express card slot, , gave me definite boost on regular startup drive. (best $100 ever) know can boot off of sdxc, i'm not sure how guys @ apple wired these sdxc slots speed.
guys think? can @ sdxc being second internal hd? thanks!
