MacPro1,1 and SATA3 HDs

hello all. have macpro1,1 (osx tiger) , want upgrade internal hard drive. system able use sata 3 hard drives? limit on hard drive gb size current set-up?

you can use sata-iii hard drives in available capacity, they'll run @ sata-ii speeds (the internal controller sata-ii). that's not big deal unless you're running several of them in raid 0/5/6, mechanical drives don't come close saturating sata-ii bandwidth otherwise.
