Boot time and mouse acceleration

hi, want try mountain lion. have 2 questions, boot time better lion , how mouse acceleration on ml?

 

the boot time on 2011 13" mba has improved on 10.7.3, gear not start turn on apple boot screen before login screen appears. have not tried on imac traditional hdd, has improved on mba ssd

edit: 10.8 install direct upgrade 10.7.3
