about those 2nd-gen Intel Core restrictions for AirPlay

i read somewhere (lost track where) use airplay on ml, need second-generation intel core cpu (i.e. i3, i5, i7). first question, assume late 2010 mba not able airplay?

secondly, explain me why intel core 2 duo chip (like 1 found in 2010 mba) not capable of doing airplay? since ipad 2 a5 chip can so? i'm not trying facetious or sarcastic or anything, don't understand great technical difficulty this. have higher resolution of mac? else?
