Anyone have suggestions how to keep my fish alive until Petco opens tomorrow?

hi guys,

added fish new aquarium today (not first aquarium means been 10 years since had one).

water conditioned, temperature good, , added fish way supposed to...

...yet dropping flies. lost 1 straight pet store other 6 dying. flushed 2 of them, third 1 looks die , 1 missing in tank (presumed dead, can't find him anywhere).

small tank, 8 gallons , has neon tetras, no other fish eat them (and ghost shrimp in there he's little).

i've never had happen before aquarium , wondered if had suggestions/advice. there no real plants in aquarium, temperature 78 degrees, water flowing , they've been fed. stress coat added in.

tried go aquarium forums verification link has still not arrived figured i'd try mac rumors in hopes fish expert on here.

feel bad them i've never been bad pet owner.

i'm taking water straight tomorrow petco see if wrong it. tested before can't imagine water knows.

 

that's strange. sounds did book, seems shocked them. hope straightened out. haven't had , aquarium years enjoyable.
