iPhone apps on new retina iPad?

as jailbroke ipad 2 use retinapad , utilize iphone apps (see: games) on ipad, i'm wondering how useful strategy on. before, resolutions close, now, there's huge gap. else thinking same?

also, wonder if apple allow iphone apps use retina resolution when displaying on ipad, instead of awful base iphone resolution.
