hey guys,
broke car while out today , stole ipod touch (4g). have ipod synced icloud "find ipod" enabled, it's showing unavailable on icloud.com. i'm assuming that's because device turned off because ipad turned off , isn't showing on icloud.com, either. there way turn on remotely can possibly locate it?
clarification, ipod need connected wifi in order located?? had wifi turned off when last left , there's passcode on ipod, i'm pretty sure thief won't connecting online anytime soon.
yes, has on. no, can't remotely turn on, thats hardware thing. yes, must on wifi located.
there's no point in stealing iphone if never going use it, turned on, , odds high wifi turned on @ stage (its big part of ipod touch , powers many of it's features). if sell it, person buy off turn on , connect net. pretty matter of time reckon.
