Help! MBA stop recognize USB external hard drive.

i have 1.5t seagate freeagent goflex usb external hard drive, use work on 2011 13" mba. stop working today, no sign after plug in usb cable, light on drive on, no drive showed in finder or on desktop. hard drive good, can read/write on windows pc , on 2010 mbp. usb ports on mba working, can access iphone , usb flash drive. try usb external hard drive, no go. cannot remember if ejected hard drive when unplug last time. idea how fix problem.

 

does usb hdd show in disk utility?
have tried smc reset yet?
