Charge battery before using iPad 3?

charge battery before using ipad 3 while it's off or charge , use @ same time?

matter?

 

every other apple device i've bought has come charged battery. start using out of box , make sure give full charge once drained.

unless else on here recommends otherwise, that's plan on doing new ipad once shows up.
