"Invalid SIM Card" on VZW iPad 3 after trying to sign up...ugh.

so got new verizon ipad @ best buy, store in area carries it, refused stupid hotspot offer, didn't let them unwrap , walked out of store it. came home, set up, noticed "verizon" @ top 4 bars of 3g before made data setup. forgot while , tried sign up, picked plan, filled out, went process order , got back:

"invalid sim card - sorry, cannot activate device because sim card using has been associated account or no longer supported. please visit verizon wireless store or call 1-800-256-4646 new sim card. (73015832)"


1 issue? tried searching no avail. what's deal here? there possibility re-sealed ipad or something, or total fluke? there can kick out of short of going store tomorrow @ point?

i tried activate data plan on ipad verizon. got exact same messages you. don't know what's going on. else have problem?
