iPad (3rd GEN) and Apple Docking Station

i purchased ipad 3 upgrade ipad 2 , have question docking station purchased ipad 2 (apple's original docking station)

- seems ipad 3 doesn't fit ipad 2 docking station, fits isn't flush of , requires ipad3 tilted little. afraid prolonged use break either docking station, or more importantly, ipad connector.

- ipad 2 docking station on apple's website looks has been included fit ipad 3

-question = ipad 2/3 docking station apple updated better fit ipad 3 or same docking station or gets.

i've been using original docking station ipad 1 1, 2, , 3. have not had issues breaking or showing stress.
