problem with earlier tablets was lack of SSD?


as love ipad, 1 feature of old 2004 windows tablet pc loved working on math problems windows journal. take lot of math classes , nice use windows journal scratchpad practice problems on without wasting paper. never bothered conversion text. machine had 512 mb of ram, , 1.5 ghz pentium m processor. thinking how slow was, problem hard drive? if ssds had been around then? have made windows tablet pcs lot more useable?

wish ipad have "pen mode" flick of switch, can disable multitouch screen , switch special tablet stylus mode, can work on math stuff without getting stray inputs hand...

touch input canvas between cpu , ram. applications mobile/desktop going load entirely ram, exception can think of games lots of textures. ssd/hdd isn't in use @ stage.
