Clearing All Recent Calls

i updated iphone 4 os 5.0.1 few days ago , noticed used everyday missing...the ability clear recent calls in 1 failed swoop....anyone know why our geniuses took away clear button? , know how clear recent calls short of clicking each , every single call twice removed?

 

it shows on mine. have edit in top right corner after pressed clear on top left appears. mean?
