restore 5.0.1 after 5.1 is released

i'm jailbroken on 5.0.1. how can keep jailbreak on 5.0.1 after apple releases 5.1 if need restore? should make custom firmware in case?

(sorry if stupid question, first time jailbreaker here)

i'm using verizon iphone 4

 

just don't update 5.1 if want keep jailbreak. there people here still on 4.2.1 on there i4's because firmware. can save shsh blobs tinyumbrella etc there no way downgrade right once apple stops signing 5.0.1 5.1 comes out.
