so, have 2009 unibody laptop dead screen. want remove lid can use keyboard/computer external screen. trackpad/keyboard otherwise run in clamshell. know thebest way this? have suspicion wireless receiver in lid, there anyway still have wifi working?

have 2010 version apple has keep replacing screen every 90 days because of hair line cracks come on lid. ive had 3 screens far free hoping new machine soon.
