hi everyone!! made wonderful switch mac (mbp c2d, 2.2ghz, os x lion, 4gb ram) , these recents news isp's throttling or possibly suspending service people download torrents (myself included) decided wanted install vpn. tried proxpn didn't seem , arrived openvpn. installed , seems working fine. question is: need use tunnelblick or using openvpn keep me safe being spied on? i've seen information setting tb vpn client , vpn have set through cisco vpn @ work simple because done me. new mac , new personal vpn's wondering if enlighten me? , if have use tb, can explain step step how set up.
fyi: have searched on here , google search looking guide still don't seem right. ideally, want use openvpn app , have work.
if torrent through vpn you're going banned vpn. no reputable vpn know of doesn't have language expressly forbidding kind of thing in terms of service.
