Mac G4 MDD questions

okay know it's antique, it's have @ present, until afford new mini, , landed on machine after death of 6 year old mini, , have make best of it.

first question: needs upgrading tolerable kind of use i'm accustomed to, starting usb card in it, i've determined usb 1.1. not takes 12 minutes copy 200 mb file on it, , it's ghastly bottleneck in system. managing 7 terabytes of video on bus not fun @ all, , during downloads browser hangs , beachballs.

there usb card can machine upgrade usb 2.0? might find 1 old machine?

moving right along: video card in thing doesn't cut me, or 25 in. monitor. i've seen of g4's used ati radeon 9000, that's not what's in machine, , if can find 1 go agp slot prolly refurb.

so... decent video card might able machine make use of screen real estate, , not cost bundle?

question, @ possible upgrade processor in kludge?
i'm pretty sure can't intel processor it, improvement on came with.

for usb 2.0 cards understand use generic drivers work. startech pci330usb2 cheapest find mentions being os x compatible.

cpu can find plenty of mdd dual 1.25ghz cpu boards quite cheap on ebay. don't know if 1.25ghz boards need heavier duty heatsink or not, can find well. around in below links there of these cards under $30 "buy now" guaranteed work.

1.42ghz boards seem hard come by. sell @ premium because pinnacle of g4 performance , more sought after collectors. i'd skip aftermarket upgrades have ridiculous premium.
