Connection Issues Since last Few Updates

since last couple of updates i've had issues atv2 losing connection imac , itunes library. either have reboot imac or atv or both recognize. today after watching movie no issue refused find further content when movie done. i've got sleep settings on imac ok i'm not sure what's happening, it's frustrating , i'm not holding out hope not happening on atv3. i've tied both wireless , ethernet same results.
