first of all, powerpc g3 500mhz processor not going work on of new websites of today, youtube, yahoo, google. old , slow (trust me have mac pro 800 mhz , has problems loading websites) anyways might able problem have gone through same thing many times.
1. have connected internet on computer before? (wired or wireless) try plugging in router directly , see if works then.
2. try connect router other own. go friend or neighbors house , try connect router, see happens.
3. double check name , password type router.
4. check routers settings. go http://home on computer plugged internet, , check ssid (name) password type, , password router.
5. try turning off password, @ least temporarily (less chance of making mistake while connecting)
6. try resetting router. depending on kind of router have, can reset pushing button on bottom or side of router itself, or through http://home network browser. sure hold reset button @ least 10 seconds.
let me know if of these steps work you, or @ least outcome of suggestions.
sorry such late response,
ryan
