Parallels 7 VRAM question

hi, all. i've been curious about, didn't find said yes or no. know if parallels, when virtualizing os, uses actual video memory, or main memory?

 

windows in vm adresses video card via own drivers. layer causes video slower in vm when run native.

answer both. parallels drivers hand off needs displayed mac os x video drivers display using vram (assuming have discrete video card).
