Pretty basic iTunes question

hi
have question i'm sure should straightforward can't figure out.

have music on place on mac mini (running lion) bit disorganised honest. tonight looking @ itunes , thought there wasn't enough music on there thought. figured 1 folder hadn't imported somehow. i'm surethere more music there isn't imported itunes

question is: there quick way of checking music files on macmini , adding missing ones itunes? don't want have hassle of duplicates feel i'm missing lot of music (the example have folder called compilations wasn't added (a lot of albums in weren't compilations don't know how ended there - said music storage bit of mess)

i've got itunes match (which great) want sure have music own available

are looking more file -> add library? that's pretty easy. or use finder , drag files or folders library section on upper right part of itunes. or, click file library organize library , use consolidate option.
