HDD on my 2011 MBP DIED last night...

i getting grey screen logo, pinwheel , small status bar on bottom.

tried rebooting in safe move, tried hardware test original disc, tried lion restore, tried resetting permissions. called apple... walked me through doing same things again (i didn't mind because have been better if had worked).

they're shipping me new hdd today , have ship old 1 back. absolutely hate not having mbp handy. have go office use computer because wife's windows laptop blows , sucks use!

if had cloned drive external backup carbon copy cloner, swap drives , boot up.
