Contract VZ data sim popped in my iPad

the first thing tried when got new ipad:

put mifi 4g verizon data sim punch , cropped micro-sim size. popped ipad. instantly got working 3g connection. restarted ipad, , got onto lte without settings changes. ran speed test confirm lte working , was.

thought i'd share. contacted verizon , asked them last week if , told me no. happy find out wrong.
