Will applecare+ fix multiple issues at once?

i went ahead , purchased applecare+ because seems great deal offer complete protection ipad. thing wondering if applecare+ cover multiple issues @ single time.

instance, thinking of going ahead , not using case can keep device thin possible. issue scratched on time setting down on tables , desks. instead of getting frustrated @ scratches wait , if ever happen damage screen due drop or else claim in 1 claim. way taken care , have pay deductible once.
