Snow Leopard - File Tranfer Issue

hey all,

problem:
backing multiple folders lots of data (media) 1 external hdd another. walk away, take hours (we're talking 800gb). invariably, @ point file corrupt, or something, , osx stops, , tells me "file x not read/written" , waits me return click, "ok" can start on again, deselect 1 file , hope no more corrupt.

desired solution:
transfer , skip unreadable files, giving me log @ end telling me files bad.

possible in osx natively? if not, there program, or maybe applescript me?

in advance help.

 

you try carboncopycloner, allows select folders want copy , puts them in same location on target hdd on source hdd, , file transfer not stopped due error, error reported afterwards.
