hi either copy file desktop cant due error code -36 when trying file out of dvd+r disc. disc hairline scratches, seems fine read. data zip file. there way or software file onto desktop , extract zip? software options?
i'm using osx 10.5.8 1gb intel core 2 duo 2.16ghz, yes computer old @ moment , updated within month. data 400mb on disc.

+when try copy zip file desktop screen starts go, towards end error code message. try eject disc of imac , wont let. goes on infinite loop saying 5 secs left, cant cancel transferring file. have force reboot computer , press eject there.

latest toast app chose recover disc option, able burn new dvd-r disc. after able grab zip file disc desktop screen no hitch. still can't unzip file stuffit expander, mac os zip extractor, , zipeg.
message trying unzip "error 1 operation not permitted". if files corrupted @ least let me have small portion of instead making me stall each time.

okay unarchiver saved ass, can move onto dinner. nothing, myself, searching through google , found short post through macrumors.
