own 2006 macpro that's loaded, 2007 macbook pro, 2011 macbook pro, , 2009 macpro of week ago. planned on selling 2007 mbp , 2006 mp funds, figure between 2 of them me $2150.
spent $3450 on 2009 macpro , $389 on new ati 5870. ati 5770 came 2009 has gone 2006 before selling fetch better price.
2009 macpro specs:
2x 2.93ghz 8-core
26gb ram
ati 5870
1tb internal
dilemma i'm having whether or not sell 2009 macpro , go using laptop full-time few weeks ago. main reason buying in first place felt laptop run ground if put under heavy load often. laptop fast (2x faster 2006 macpro of time) wondered if getting hot too longer might kill quickly. perhaps worrying nothing? maybe 2011 mbp more efficient now? video editing, graphic design, etc. 2011-2012 used laptop work, it's proven itself. 2009 macpro nice, wonder if performance worth money spent. realize nobody can answer me, think?
should sell 3 , money 2009 mp while still can? mean serious dough in bank. i've found hard justify moving off laptop imac 27", attractive computer price because find annoying have documents split between computers, things mail.
issue have 17" 2011 mbp sits around new desktop here, in rare instances travel need it. feels waste rest of time...$$$ sitting around.
