Reduced iPhone 4s battery life increasing?

sorry if topic sounds little confusing.

i'm aware iphone 4s has less battery life iphone 4 due dual core processor, i've noticed battery life seems dying.

on average 30 min trip, noticed yesterday phone dropped around 20% while using it.

today on same trip phone off, noticed usage dropped 15% phone in standby mode.

i've closed down many apps possible, seems excessive.

had thought charged phone last night 51% @ around 11:30pm last night, when woke morning @ 7:45am phone out of battery. i'm not 100% sure on battery charge last night, seem unusal.

has else experienced simular situations?

i'm thinking of taking in iphone genius bar possibly replaced. got phone week after released in australia same time of release.

 

for last several months phone has had amazing battery life. @ 80% when went bed. last few days battery life horrid. not last full day, no use.... wtf going on??
