i have 2009 unibody macbook pro , week has started run slowly.
main problem webpages taking ages load up. these normal websites @ time without problem..bbc, google, apple example. happens click on bookmark , address bar changes site blue bar fills 1/4 , spinning thing @ end spins..if leave 5 mins load have found clicking stop , reload makes load quicker.
have checked connection , fine, speed same is. using same wifi signal can onto them fine iphone.
since have had problem have got spinning beachball alot more normal..
activity monitor not show hogging memory. have 232gb of disk space, memory showing free 998mb, used 787mb.
grateful or advice solve problem
i'd begin resetting safari, clearing cookies , cache. restart computer. also, check dns settings reading: why being redirected other sites?
