i have been having major hard drive issues (super slow , programs stopped opening saying needed check developer?) , came conclusion after researching might make hd upgrade. figured part of issue of applications based in fact hard drive trying search , kept getting "disk0s2 i/o" error. things slow time machine took overnight , new hard drive formatted , in computer.
i'm running 10.6.8 snow leopard , think computer (macbook pro, macbookpro3,1, intel core 2 duo, 2.2ghz) came leopard can't remember life of me if that's sure. install disk mac os version 10.5.
having problems booting disc plugged old hd in via usb , thing started , can see old hard drive via fire wire , new hd in power book. original plan using time machine copy on new hd i'm trying using disk utility , restore tab. biggest fear problems may copied on new hd. suggestions or experience this?
