so appear magsafe cord has wee short in it. @ least that's i'm guessing. if flexes in direction little light on connector goes off , no longer charging. if sitting still, no problems. have unplug whole thing wall , reattach charge again. now, don't know if coincidence, batter wont charge on 97% unless unhook power supply , run battery down, charge 100%. next time @ it, right @ 97% again. mid-2010 mbp. suggestions or stuck shelling out $80 new charger?
it normal battery may not charge 100%. battery may appear stop charging between 93 percent , 99 percent, because batteries designed avoid short discharge/charge cycles in order prolong overall life of battery. when reaches full charge, light on magsafe adapter turn green. indicates has stopped charging battery , running on a/c power charged battery. it not overcharge battery. it's safe let mac notebook sleep a/c plugged in.
