iPhone 4 can't handle jailbreak !?

i have jailbroken friends iphone 4 , seems phone can not handle jailbreak . running ios 5.0.1 . have read on these forums , every 1 says there i4 handles great ! when swiping through pages on homescreen lags badly ! ?

 

what did use jailbreak? else on iphone? packages have installed?
