i'm setting mac mini server first time, , can not seem find explanation of "system group" or does.
in context: when create new share point file sharing, , go edit share point settings, see:
1. user account w/ read , write access (owner)
2. spotlight w/ custom access
3. 'system group (primary group)' read-only access
4. else
system group bothers me in don't have understanding of comprises group? special access system processes able see files, such making files accessible time machine other system process?
risks of leaving system group read access -or- conversely, implications of giving system group no access share point?
machine going file share , wiki server small workgroup, there shares confidential information ensure remains restricted authorized users only.
thanks!
i think system group group 0, aka wheel group.
