Going iPad only

i'm sure other people must have tried or trying go ipad only(no main computer, ipad). know go ipad if storage wasn't issue. i've been trying find way add external storage without success. has here gone ipad only?

 

i know have tried without success. unfortunately, as love ipad, can't everything. today needed pull out computer render pdf embedded in website properly.
