Best system for Photoshop?

can recommend or point me towards thread best system using photoshop?

i'm using mac pro 2 x 3.2 ghz quad 14gb of ram, looking upgrade , wanted advice next. apple continue mac pro?!?!

work files 2gb upwards, using various filters , lots of layers work complex. can handle ideal!
looking @ starting cgi later year using 3ds max.

don't think computer offer significant performance increase compared have.
