Am I screwed here?

about 4months ago, dropped iphone 4 , smashed rear panel. bought new cheap panel ebay , repaired no problem.

2 days ago, phone stopped charging , won't respond when connect computer. no choice left, went apple store. guy took phone through back, came 5mins later no luck , told me couldn't touch it, phone has been tampered , doesn't have genuine panel.

think still have smashed original panel, put on iphone , try again @ apple store or phone blacklisted now?

 

you may able put on panel believe when drop phone , damage it, apple attribute later issue that. may not cause how it's worked times. ymmv.
