darling macbook died other day, or assume death. play these games, blasted thing either putting on greatest performance of life (ironic much), or is, in fact, dead doornail. white screen, apple logo, , nadda afterwards. did manage boot os disk - once - , went disk utility, ran repair, , said ok. lie. terrible, terrible lie...
...anyway, needing may, or may not, on time machine backup, , since darling macbook outside warranty, wondering if following work.
make osx partition on imac (so, 2 lion operating systems of x-gb partitions), , load backups time machine program of poor, deceased darling macbook cleverly saved on external hd*question mark*
don't live close apple store, hate driving, , despise trains. if works can send blasted thing off recycling without having bother myself, or apple tech, trying fix it. need 1 file, 1 file important me snow cones in summer. , may on infernal external hd time machine thingey.

do use time machine on imac ? either way plug in macbook time machine backup disc imac.
have not tried in lion if right click time machine icon in dock should option browse other backups - should trick !!!
