Connecting PS3 to Mac

i've been searching quite while results seem rather vague; people successful, others not. anyway, possible connect ps3 either macbook pro outputted onto display, or straight cinema display itself?

convenient if have running off of 1 display instead of having buy use playstation.

you'll need video capture device, eyetv. in cases, there noticeable lag can make game harder play unplayable.
