Beats By Dre's have let me down for the last time. Need recommendations

i purchased beats dre in ear tours in march last year , i've had them replaced 3-4 times during time. i'm disappointed paid quite lot of money headphones thought may last long while. issues such short-circuiting cable splitting has been prevalent.

use in-ear headphones iphone , i'm in market new headphones. i've looked @ brands such bose , sennheiser, i'm unsure brand/headphones go with. i'm extremely passionate music , want quality headphones last couple years.

i'd appreciate recommendations. thanx

 

i've had sony mdr-v6s several years now. excellent quality sound.
