.ra file (Real Audio)

can tell me of way open .ra files on mac?
know old file system real player. appears real player not support file system longer. tried vlc , not work. tried audio city. tried download older real players mac. either not open,...or not support intel macs. suggested called m-player. tried that,.....but either not know doing, (highly possible) or not work. father,....whom have talked making big switch mac. has web site refuses abandon still uses .ra files. have tried cannot them play.
our os lion. willing install work.
in advance help. (been trying resolve several weeks.)
