i looking advice hosting streaming video. started using youtube, i've run serious problem called contentid. upload flagged bogus claims of copyright ownership names such "godigital mg third party", "music publishing rights collecting society", , "emi". don't know of these companies are, don't own content of videos.
i've appealed each bogus claim, takes time, , i've run 1 refuses off. "emi" had video's audio deleted within hour of uploading it, , despite filing appeal, audio continues muted no further notification why there no audio in stream. it's been 2 days, , appeal being ignored.
unfortunately, stream video costs money. looked @ vimeo, it's going cost me $199 per year, plus storage costs. places smugmug , zenfolio cost $100 $200 per year, , put limits on video sizes , lengths. hosting myself has price, won't able share videos free anymore. why did google allow happen youtube, letting bogus companies run rampant across network, claiming ownership on , please? noticed google's image finder allows copyrighted photos freely redistributed, can't freely distribute videos on youtube. hypocrisy!
want able start video stream on-demand @ point in video. i'd have mobile device support video player, , universal operating system , browser support. can justify annual cost, not hundreds of dollars @ moment. alternatives?
did use own music or music no other company has rights on?
emi big music corporation, other 2 mentioned hold various rights various artists , audio.
