Corel Draw and Illustrator

long story i'm doing work company suppliers in china use corel draw graphics. know it's no longer available mac , last release did work on mac no longer works on lion use. use illustrator work thats i'v learned , comfortable with. know of way save illustrator files compatible cdr files. or of way version 11 or newer of corel work on lion.
know bootcamp option prefer avoid route if can.
have , old macbook have both illustrator , corel on when paste illustrator work corel quality drops far adequate solution.

if anyones got advice or tips it'd real help.

corel draw sucks...

i've been forced send corel files clients, work in illustrator. i'm using windows machine (i guess there's no way out)... corel x5 can import illustrator cs5 files, gradients won't open right , corel doesn't supports illustrator clipping masks (corel reads mask object)... took me hour import business cards ai corel... , sucks...

, use corel draw it's horrible...

luck, need windows , patience right...



p.s. love corel painter though...
