Macbook pro No sound AND NO REDLIGHT.

so listening music on headphones, , music muted second , unmuted. straight after 5 seconds later music stopped. unplugged jack , there no sound. looked audio jack , there no red light either , no volume locking. need help... restarted computer , noticed start sound muted well. i've checked settings arn't muted.. wtf going on macbook pro !

 

check system preferences > sound > output or option/alt click sound/volume icon in menu bar , tell us, listed , checked output device.
