transmit video wirelessly

wirelessly posted (mozilla/5.0 (ipod; cpu iphone os 5_0_1 mac os x) applewebkit/534.46 (khtml, gecko) version/5.1 mobile/9a405 safari/7534.48.3)

option if transmit video (dvd, avi, mov, anything) imac tv or beamer on air? 1080p nice. not requirement. setup should simple , required hardware should small , have decent design can used in living room.

wireless video @ stage of development wonky @ best. range relatively short, devices expensive, add lots of unneccessary complications, , there's risk of interference in transmitted audio , imagery.

simple cable like, 1000% more preferable pretty every point of view. since pretty no tvs have ultra-wideband receivers built them yet you'll still need hdmi cable running receiver box, have sit relatively near transmission box (as in, few meters, in line of sight). , you'll need power cables wall warts wireless boxes, increasing cable clutter 300% versus 1 straight video cable running tv.

bad idea overall, i'd say. if insist there solutions out there. google them. :p
