does else find smart cover inconvenient use in portrait mode? slides around while typing, , gets in way.
also, smart cover scratch ipads? i've seen friends' ipads smart covers have left markings on aluminum. appears when cover bent way back, allowing hinges scuff ipad.

i've not had such issue ipad 2 or ipad third generation in either portrait or landscape mode. mind use mine in portrait mode. 1 of tpu covers have metal strip holds ipad in place. protect of ipad.
regards scuff marks i've heard few people in these , other forums mention it. never experienced on ipad 2. it's regards new ipad.
