hello. made presentation using mac version of powerpoint 2008. saved ppt file , movie files usb flash memory. when played presentation directly usb flash memory on pc, got error:
"the file attempting play has extension (.mov) not match file format. playing file may result in unexpected behavior."
answered yes "do want player try play content?" however, not work.
search on internet pointed microsoft website suggests changing video file format.
1. there quite few video files. there way fix problem without converting videos format? if not, best format use , free converter recommend?
2. there solution guarantees won't encounter problem again regardless of version powerpoint/quicktime use on pc? pc @ company visit may not has quicktime installed.

what codec .mov file use?
open .mov file in quicktime player , open movie inspector via cmd+i.
